The Sanctuary Choir is looking for singers to make a commitment to participating in the Sanctuary Choir for any or all of the following time periods:
February 20-March 13
March 13-June 19
Seasonal singers are also needed in March for Easter


Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir leads and inspires our congregation in worship. Our repertoire includes fine classical sacred works and contemporary musical expressions. Being part of the choir requires commitment, discipline, and hard work but as we learn, grow, and serve, we have a great deal of fun and a deep sense of fulfillment. Please join us!
The choir sings every Sunday, at the 11:00 a.m. service and takes a special part in worship during special seasons, Advent, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter.
The choir participates in Bethany Covenant Music Series throughout the year. Being a part of the Music Series, Choir has accomplished choral masterpieces such as Mozart's "Requiem", Brahms' "German Requiem" and Mendelssohn's "Elijah".
Every year the Choir presents a Christmas Concert with an orchestra and invites choral singers from the church and from the community to participate. Our Christmas program varies each year, from Handel's "Messiah" to contemporary cantatas with Christmas drama presentation included.
Choir is open to everyone age 16 or more who has some musical experience. The ability to read music is preferred, but not required. We welcome new singers in every part!
Rehearsals: Thursday evenings, from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. Sept.- June.

Joyful Noise
Joyful Noise is a new Children's Choir that combines children from the Cherub Choir,
ages 4 through 2nd grade, and from Messengers of God, for children
grades 3 through 7. This choir seeks to give our children the joyful experience
of praising God and sharing His love through song and movement. Joyful Noise
participates in worship once a month and during special seasons of Christmas and Easter.
Rehearsals: Monday evenings 5:20-6:15pm
September through May

Youth Choir
A new Youth Choir has been formed at Bethany!
This choir is for 'tweens and teens from 7th through 12th grades. The choir made their debut in Christmas Cantata in December 2009.

Worship Choir
The Worship Choir is a new highly enthusiastic group that sings contemporary Praise and Gospel choral music, accompanied by the Praise Band. The choir has grown out of the summer Gospel choir and now has been participating in worship all throughout the year.
The choir is open to everyone 14 years and older that wants to praise God in song. The Worship Choir participates in the 8:30am worship service once a month.
Rehearsals: Monday nights at 7:00pm once a month

Bethany Chorale
The Bethany Chorale is a chamber choral group for singers who have a passion, skill and desire to perform great classical and contemporary choral music.
The Chorale will sing periodically at the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services and in concerts and special events throughout the year. You may join if you are age 16 or more, can read music and can learn your part independently so that you can come to rehearsal prepared to sing.
Rehearsals: Every other Wednesday
7:30 - 9:00 p.m.

Bethany Brass
Bethany Brass is a brass ensemble, presently consisting of trumpets and trombones. The group does not have a set rehearsal schedule but participates regularly in worship services, special events and concerts throughout the year.

Handbell Choir
Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir consists of approximately ten ringers, a core of whom return each year. The choir plays once a month, usually at the 11:00 a.m. service from October through December and from February through May.
You may join this group if you can read music, have the physical ability and coordination to ring bells, and are willing to make a firm commitment to be present at rehearsals. This is a unique and joyful way to serve the Lord.
Rehearsals are every Thursday from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.

Salvation Road Ministries

Salvation Road is a contemporary Christian rock band that spreads the good news of salvation through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through its music. This ministry focuses on all people and the problems they face everyday.
Salvation Road began with the members of Bethany Covenant Church praise and worship team and made their debut on February 2, 2008 at Bethany Covenant Church. The band continues to lead praise and worship at Bethany Covenant Church on a regular basis. Salvation Road's ministry also extends to other churches and events.

SALT Band
SALT Band (Students Actively Living the Truth)
The SALT Band is a contemporary Christian musical group for high school aged students, which leads worship both at Bethany and at wider youth events and retreats. The mission of this group is to help others praise God, to strengthen their own relationship with the Lord through worship, and to share God's love through music.
This group is for both experienced and inexperienced musicians. Students who are learning an instrument or who have an interest in multi-media are welcome. A strong commitment to the rehearsal schedule is important.
The band rehearses every Sunday from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.

Act of Praise
Act of Praise is the Praise Band and Worship Team that leads worship at the 8:30 a.m. service. We welcome high school students and adults who desire to praise God through contemporary music. We invite both male and female vocalists for try outs, and also invite band musicians to try for substitutes. We are looking for musicians who are able to make a regular weekly commitment to rehearsals and Sundays.
Rehearsals are Mondays from 6:15- 8:00 p.m.
